Saudi Informatics Team Secures Six Awards at Balkan Olympiad

   Riyadh, October 01, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi informatics team won six awards at the 32nd Balkan Olympiad in Informatics (BOI 2025), which was held in Udine, Italy, from September 25 to October 1. The competition featured 65 students from 17 countries.
   The team's haul included four bronze medals and two certificates of appreciation.
   This achievement marks the Kingdom's third participation in the Balkan Olympiad. It falls under the Mawhiba International Olympiad Program, implemented by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education.
   With the recent success, the Kingdom’s total tally in this competition now stands at 13 international awards, comprising six bronze medals and seven certificates of appreciation.
