Falcon from Jazan Sold for SAR100,000 at Opening of Saudi Falcons Club Auction 2025

   Riyadh, October 3, 2025, SPA -- The first night of the Saudi Falcons Club Auction 2025 was held on Thursday evening at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham, north of Riyadh. The auction coincides with the Kingdom’s annual falconry season, which runs from October 1 to November 30.
   A falcon from Wadi Baydh in Jazan, belonging to falconers Abdulrahman and Haider Mohammed Qasadi, was put up for bidding. The auction started at SAR30,000 before closing at a final price of SAR100,000.
   The auction has become a key platform for local falcons, reinforcing the Kingdom’s cultural heritage, passing falconry expertise to younger generations, and providing an economic opportunity for hundreds of participating falconers.
