Founding Anniversary of Taean Friendship Glass Factory Marked in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held on October 3 to mark the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Taean Friendship Glass Factory.
Chairman Kim Jong Il attended the inauguration ceremony of the factory in October 2005, visited it several times in a month and put his heart and soul into developing it into a comprehensive glassware producer and a unit playing a part in improving the people's living standard.
Under the meticulous care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the factory is further adding luster to its honor as a unit associated with the leadership exploits on the road of advance for implementing the decisions of the plenary meetings of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present at the meeting were Ri Jae Nam, chief secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the WPK, So Jong Jin, minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industry, and officials and employees of the factory.
Ro Ik, manager of the factory, made a report at the meeting.
The reporter referred to the fact that the officials and workers of the factory have waged a dynamic struggle to fulfill their mission and duty in developing the country's economy and improving the people's standard of living over the past 20 years under the wise leadership of the Party.
He stressed that all the officials and employees should actively learn from the fighting spirit of the workers at the Sangwon Cement Complex, who held aloft the torch of miraculous increased production, and fully display their ardent loyalty and patriotic devotion on the road of the ongoing worthwhile general advance. -0-
