TEHRAN, Oct. 4 (MNA) – Reacting to the transfer of US military equipment to the region and media speculation about the potential outbreak of war, Iran’s defense minister said enemy constantly talking about attack to disrupt lives of Iranian people.
Speaking in a televised interview, Iranian Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, emphasized that repeated warnings of imminent attacks are part of psychological warfare aimed at creating social unrest and destabilizing the economy of the country.
“We must be prepared to defend the country with all might and this is a principle and has nothing to do with the military transfers into the country,” the minister underlined.
The current war is smart and a combination of hard- and soft wars, he said, adding that soft part of this war has become more significant which is cognitive war, the defense minister added.
