Armenian Ambassador to Iraq Visits Najaf

Najaf /NINA/- The Governor of Najaf, Yousef Gnawi, received the Armenian Ambassador to Iraq, Ruben Soghoyan.

The Najaf Governor's Media Center stated that "the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between Najaf Governorate and the Republic of Armenia in the economic, tourism, and cultural fields."

During the meeting, the governor emphasized the governorate's openness to various initiatives that contribute to developing the local economy and attracting investments, serving the people of Najaf and strengthening bilateral relations between the two sides.

For his part, the Armenian ambassador affirmed his country's desire to strengthen cooperation with Najaf Governorate, given its important historical and religious status. /End
