Construction of modern recreation facilities underway in Issyk Kul

Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2025. /Kabar/. During the working visit to Issyk-Kul region, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Public Utilities Nurdan Oruntayev inspected a number of construction sites.

According to the ministry, the minister first visited Tamchy village, where Avangard LLC is constructing Tamchy Resort tourist complex. Cottages and townhouses are being built as part of this large-scale project. Company representatives reported that work is progressing ahead of schedule.

Oruntaev then inspected the four-season Urpaq Resort residence. This facility will become one of the region's largest recreation centers. Construction is currently proceeding according to the approved plan and design documentation.

The Minister also toured the construction of the Elizaveta Resort complex.

During his visit, Nurdan Oruntaev emphasized that Issyk-Kul is the heart of Kyrgyzstan's tourism sector, and the construction of modern recreation facilities that meet international standards plays a vital role in developing the country's tourism potential. He added that the Ministry will continue to support construction and infrastructure projects.
