Bahrain congratulates Egypt on its candidate election as UNESCO Director-General

Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain extended congratulations to Egypt on the election of its candidate, Dr. Khaled El-Enany, as Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). This historic achievement reflects the international community’s appreciation for Egypt’s wise foreign policy under the leadership of HE President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as well as for the country’s role in promoting peace and advancing the values of cultural and civilizational dialogue.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Bahrain’s support for Dr. El-Enany, wishing him success in assuming his duties.
