HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding and enduring Bahrain–Saudi partnership, underpinned by a shared history of cooperation and deep-rooted ties.
His Royal Highness noted that this close partnership continues to grow under the guidance and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his appreciation for the continued support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, in advancing bilateral cooperation in line with mutual aspirations. His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman's unwavering support for various initiatives and projects spearheaded by the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council.
His Royal Highness underscored the role of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council in strengthening multisectoral collaboration. This collaboration, particularly in economic sectors, creates new opportunities that contribute to both Kingdoms achieving their joint aspirations.
His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud conveyed the greetings of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to His Royal Highness, extending their wishes for continued progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. In turn, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reciprocated by conveying his greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wishing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continued progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, the latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest, were discussed.
His Royal Highness emphasised the critical role of Saudi Arabia, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in strengthening bilateral cooperation, promoting regional security and development, and safeguarding Arab and Islamic interests.
For his part, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to strengthening Bahrain–Saudi relations and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people continued growth and development.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
