Yonhap, KOICA to cooperate on news content

SEOUL, July 15 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's Yonhap News Agency and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) signed a partnership agreement on Wednesday to provide news on the agency's missions abroad.

Under the agreement, KOICA will provide the contents on its overseas assistance
and cooperation projects, and Yonhap will publish news on the projects and
related activities.
"The partnership will have a multi-fold synergy effect," Yonhap President and CEO
Park Jung-chan said at the signing ceremony.
Yonhap and KOICA will also cooperate on promoting relations between South Korea
and the countries where KOICA is active.
