HM King receives Saudi Foreign Minister

Manama, Oct. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Al Sakhir Palace.
The Minister is on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the Executive Committee of the Bahraini-Saudi Coordination Council.
His Majesty the King expressed pride in the longstanding relations and close ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, based on brotherhood, shared visions, understanding and coordination.
HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan conveyed to His Majesty the King the greetings and best wishes of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, wishing Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
HM the King welcomed the Saudi Foreign Minister and extended greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing the people of Saudi Arabia further progress and prosperity.
HM the King highlighted the importance of such visits in enhancing cooperation, coordination and consultation amid regional challenges, commending the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to deepen Bahraini-Saudi relations and the leading role of Saudi Arabia in supporting Gulf and Arab joint action and promoting unity among nations.
The meeting reviewed a number of regional and international developments, particularly in the Middle East.
On his part, HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan expressed gratitude to HM the King for the continued commitment to supporting the historical ties between the two kingdoms and their peoples.
