Chollima Steel Complex Marks Its 80th Founding Anniversary

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- The Chollima Steel Complex in the DPRK marked its 80th founding anniversary.
The 80-year-long history of the complex was a history of love and trust of the peerlessly great men and a period of loyalty and repayment.
President Kim Il Sung went to the workers of the then Kangson Steel Plant first in military uniform during the anti-Japanese war though his dear old home in Mangyongdae was within call, and put forward them as the masters of the country and the vanguard of nation-building.
Busy with his field guidance, Chairman Kim Jong Il clarified the orientation for modernizing the complex and kindled the torch of a new great revolutionary upswing.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un wisely led the workers of the complex to steadily carry forward the tradition of loyalty and the baton of patriotism and defend the Workers' Party of Korea and the revolution with increased iron and steel production.
A meeting was held on Oct. 8 to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the complex.
Present there were Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Yang Sung Ho, officials concerned and officials and employees of the complex.
