DPRK Government Hosts Reception for Delegations of Organizations for Study of Juche Idea
Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- A reception was given by the DPRK government at Pyongyang Koryo Hotel on October 8 for the delegations of organizations for the study of the Juche idea for celebrating the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present there on invitation were Harish Gupta and Matteo Carbonelli, vice-director generals of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, and delegations and delegates of organizations for the study of the Juche idea from different countries and regions.
Present there were members of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council and the International Kim Jong Il Prize Council.
Also present there were Thae Hyong Chol, first vice-chairman of the Korean Association of Social Scientists who doubles as president of the Academy of Social Sciences, and officials in the field of social sciences.
Thae Hyong Chol made a speech at the reception.
He highly appreciated the fact that the Juche idea followers, the forerunners of the times, are making a genuine contribution to the building of a just and peaceful new world through their positive activities, wishing them greater successes in their honorable work for the independent development of all countries and nations and the accomplishment of the cause of global independence.
Next, Harish Gupta made a speech.
Saying that as it is led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the WPK is setting an epoch-making example in building a powerful state and instilling into mankind the confidence and hope for the socialist cause, he expressed the will to further strengthen solidarity among the organizations for the study of the Juche idea on an international scale and dynamically conduct the activities for studying and disseminating the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. -0-
