DPRK Weightlifters Prove Successful at 2025 IWF World Championships

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- DPRK players are winning gold medals at the 2025 International Weightlifting Federation World Championships.
DPRK player Song Kuk Hyang set three world records in the women's 69kg category.
She renewed the existing world records with the lift of 120kg in snatch, 150kg in clean and jerk and 270kg in total and bagged three gold medals.
Meanwhile, Ro Kwang Ryol lifted 215kg in clean and jerk (new world record) in the men's 88kg category and bagged a gold medal and took the second place in total. -0-
