Saudi Arabia Concludes MENA Asset-Recovery Meeting

Jeddah, October 10, 2025, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia yesterday concluded the first annual general meeting of the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA–ARIN) in Jeddah. The meeting, which was held October 8 to 9, was hosted by the Kingdom and represented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha).
The event featured high-level participation from ministers, attorneys general, heads of anti-corruption bodies, and financial investigation units. It was attended by international and regional organizations, peer networks, and national entities concerned with combating corruption and recovering assets.
The gathering featured extensive participation from representatives of the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) member states, in addition to delegates from several other nations.
The meeting concluded with the announcement that the United Arab Emirates will assume the presidency for the next session in 2026, followed by the State of Qatar for the 2027 session. The event received widespread praise for its exceptional organization, high-level coordination, and broad international attendance.
