Three Mongolian Falcons Sold for SAR420,000 at Saudi Falcons Exhibition

Riyadh, October 10, 2025, SPA -- The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 yesterday recorded the sale of three Mongolian falcons for a combined SAR420,000, amid strong competition among bidders and broad audience engagement.
Bidding opened for a hur farkh (juvenile) falcon that started at SAR100,000 and sold for SAR209,000, followed by a second-molt hur qarnas (adult falcon) for SAR121,000, and a third for SAR90,000.
The sale is part of the Mongolian Falcons Zone, introduced by the exhibition for the first time, featuring falcons held in high regard by falconers in the Kingdom and the region for their high quality.
The zone showcases elite breeds from Mongolia in East Asia, particularly the Mongolian falcon, known for its large size, long wingspan, and endurance.  Its colors range from pale white to dark brown. Thanks to its ability to adapt to harsh conditions and respond quickly to training, it holds an advantage in falconry and is highly sought after by both hobbyists and professionals.
