Jeenbek Kulubaev attends Council of CIS Foreign Ministers in Dushanbe

Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev participated in the meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on October 9, 2025, in Dushanbe, Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

During the meeting, the heads of delegations exchanged views on current issues on the international agenda and discussed the current state and prospects of political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation within the CIS. Particular attention was paid to the interaction of the foreign ministries of the CIS member states in the context of ensuring regional security, as well as expanding cooperation with United Nations and other international and regional organizations.

Following the meeting, the foreign ministers approved a number of draft documents that will be submitted for consideration to the Council of Heads of Government and the Council of Heads of State of the CIS.

Next meeting of the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers will be held on April 17, 2026, in Kaliningrad.
