Flower Basket Laid at Friendship Tower

Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- The delegation of the party and government of the People's Republic of China led by Li Qiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, laid a flower basket at the Friendship Tower on October 10.
Present there were Jong Myong Su, vice-premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, Pak Myong Ho, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and members of the Chinese embassy here.
The guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up there.
The national anthems of the People's Republic of China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were played.
The flower basket in the name of the delegation was placed before the tower.
The participants paid silent tribute to the memory of the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers who bravely fought against the aggression of the imperialist allied forces before going round the tower.
On the same day, the delegation visited the cemetery of CPV fallen fighters in Anju City. -0-
