Kyrgyzstan's GDP exceeds 1.2 trillion soms

Bishkek, Oct.15, 2025 /Kabar/. The gross domestic product for the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 1 trillion 240.5 billion soms, according to Nazira Kerimalieva, First Deputy Chairperson of the National Statistical Committee. According to her, this represents a 10% increase compared to January-September 2024.
She added that the growth in industrial production compared to January-September 2024 was driven by a 2.3-fold increase in pharmaceutical production, a 40.1% increase in food and tobacco products, a 31.8% increase in rubber, plastic, and construction materials, a 28.7% increase in wood, paper, and printing products, a 17.7% increase in chemical products, an 8.5% increase in textile and clothing production, and a 16.3% increase in mining.
