Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2025 /Kabar/. On October 15, Tynchtyk Shainazarov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with active representatives of the country's blogger community. The meeting was held in open dialogue format.

Tynchtyk Shainazarov spoke about the upcoming early parliamentary elections. In particular, he emphasized that remote voting will be implemented for the first time in order to create favorable conditions for voters in accordance with electoral legislation. He also emphasized the importance of the "one voter - one candidate - one vote" principle and spoke about the organization of polling stations abroad and the conduct of test voting to familiarize voters with the new election equipment. Particular attention was paid to the importance of information support for the electoral process.

In this regard, the CEC head noted the significant role bloggers play in disseminating reliable information to the public, given their wide audience. He expressed his readiness for open interaction and cooperation with representatives of the media community. During the meeting, bloggers asked a number of pressing questions regarding election campaigning rules, restrictions on early campaigning, ballot paper specifics, and the lottery procedure. They received a detailed explanation of the legislation and the procedures for interacting with candidates during election campaigning. As noted, election campaigning begins on November 10, 2025, and prior to this, in accordance with electoral legislation, early campaigning for candidates must be avoided. Following the meeting, participants were shown the operation of the polling equipment, and they were able to vote in test mode.

In conclusion, Tynchtyk Shainazarov expressed gratitude to the meeting participants for their interest and active civic engagement, emphasizing that the Central Election Commission looks forward to constructive cooperation in informing voters and explaining the innovations of the upcoming parliamentary elections. Approximately 20 representatives of the country's blogger community participated in the meeting.
