Kyrgyzstan, Japan discuss Central Asia + Japan dialogue

Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Meder Abakirov had a telephone conversation with Deputy Foreign Minister of Japan Ishikawa Masaki.

According to the department, during the conversation, the parties discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Japanese bilateral cooperation, including the active continuation of political dialogue, deepening trade, economic and investment interaction, as well as opportunities to expand the legal and contractual framework.

In addition, areas of regional cooperation were discussed within the framework of the dialogue in the Central Asia + Japan format. In conclusion, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen and develop bilateral ties.
