Information Ministry organises comprehensive TV coverage of 3rd Asian Youth Games

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): The Ministry of Information announced its readiness to organise comprehensive media coverage of the 3rd Asian Youth Games, to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from October 22 to 31, 2025, reflecting Bahrain’s advanced position on the Asian sports map.
The ministry said that the tournament’s competitions will be broadcast live on Bahrain Sports 1 and 2 and Bahrain International channels, covering up to 30 sports and more than 141 events for both men and women. A daily programme will air at 9:30 p.m., presented by sports journalists Mariam Bukamal, Fawaz Al Abdulla, Isa Sharaida, and Mohamed Abdulghaffar, featuring Bahraini sports figures and analysts to review results, analyse performances, and highlight accompanying activities from the perspective of participants, organisers, and volunteers.
The coverage will include live field reports and correspondents across venues to provide real-time updates, supported by a newly launched sports studio designed with state-of-the-art technology to capture the atmosphere of the continental event and reflect the Kingdom’s distinguished hosting standards as a leading Asian sports destination.
The ministry added that its digital platforms will play a central role in showcasing the tournament globally through an integrated plan to produce around 4,000 digital content pieces, incorporating artificial intelligence technologies and a strategic partnership with TikTok to enhance engagement with regional and international audiences.
To ensure high-quality broadcasting, the ministry established a fully equipped international broadcast centre and prepared sports venues with the latest global technologies to provide continuous and high-standard coverage of all competitions and related activities.
The ministry confirmed that its media teams will operate around the clock to document competitions and accompanying events, highlighting Bahrain’s largest-ever participation in the Asian Youth Games and the Kingdom’s outstanding organisational efforts that reflect its distinguished reputation in Asia and beyond.
