Finance Minister attends annual Bahrain Banks Reception

Washington, Oct. 19 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, attended the annual Bahrain Banks Reception organised by the Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) in Washington, on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank meetings.
The event was attended by Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB).
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa said the Kingdom of Bahrain’s dedication to developing its financial and banking sector, highlighting its role in driving economic growth and enhancing Bahrain’s position as a prominent financial centre in the region under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Finance Minister emphasised the importance of such events for promoting Bahrain's attractive investment environment, enhance international partnerships with financial institutions, and strengthen Bahrain’s economic competitiveness and active presence in the global economy.
The Bahrain Banks Reception is a key annual event for exchanging expertise and best practices, enhancing ties with international financial institutions, and showcasing Bahrain’s achievements in the financial sector.
