Global investors, business leaders set to convene in Bahrain for Gateway Gulf’s 3rd edition in November

Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain is preparing to welcome business leaders and international speakers from the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Gulf region participating in the third edition of the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum, to be held from 2 to 3 November 2025 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bahrain Bay.
The forum will focus on international participation to achieve its set strategic objectives, bringing together around 200 guests including global investors, business leaders, policymakers, government officials, and entrepreneurs, to promote valuable investment opportunities across the Gulf and establish partnerships around them.
Held under the theme "Rethinking Global Investment for New Trade Dynamics," the forum provides a platform to showcase the Kingdom’s strategic initiatives and enhance international cooperation. It is organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board with the support of senior government officials and a number of entities from Bahrain’s business, investment, and industry sectors. The event will highlight the Gulf region’s economic transformation, with its GDP currently exceeding USD 2 trillion and expected to reach USD 6 trillion by 2050.
Non-oil sectors contribute more than 86% of Bahrain’s GDP, providing a highly diversified investment environment that offers global investors competitive opportunities for sustainable growth and business development.
The previous edition of Gateway Gulf, held in 2024, achieved numerous results, including the announcement of investments and strategic agreements worth over USD 12 billion. The 2025 edition aims to build on this momentum through a targeted agenda that will benefit participants through pre-arranged discussion sessions, one-on-one meetings with investors, and various engagements, in addition to showcasing investment-ready projects from across the Gulf, alongside cultural and social activities that highlight Bahrain’s distinctive business and social landscape.
The forum will address key regional and local trends and opportunities, including digital transformation, energy transition, and sustainability, as well as promising prospects in key sectors such as financial services, ICT, industry, logistics, and tourism, with ministers and senior executives meeting to discuss potential opportunities and identify areas for cooperation in a series of discussion sessions.
