HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad receives HRH Feisal bin Al Hussein of Jordan, HH Fahad bin Jelawi of Saudi Arabia

Manama, Oct. 21 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), received His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), on the occasion of HRH Prince Feisal’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the Third Asian Youth Games, held from October 22-31.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad welcomed HRH Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein to Bahrain, commending the longstanding ties between Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. His Highness emphasised the importance of the Games in enhancing sports relations among Asian countries, commending the wide participation of delegations and wishing the Jordanian team success in all competitions.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad also received His Highness Prince Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, upon arrival in the Kingdom to attend the Third Asian Youth Games.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Fahad bin Jelawi bin Abdulaziz to Bahrain, commending the historical relations between Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supported by the leadership of both countries to advance sports cooperation and serve the aspirations of their peoples in various domains.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad emphasised the importance of Saudi Arabia’s participation in the Asian Youth Games as an opportunity to strengthen joint work between the olympic committees of both countries, exchange expertise, and promote initiatives to advance the olympic movement and empower youth in sports. His Highness wished Saudi Arabia continued progress and prosperity.
