14th Conference for Heads of Arab Security Training Institutions Opens in Doha

Tunis, October 29, 2025, SPA -- The 14th conference of the heads of Arab security training and rehabilitation institutions is being held today in the Qatari capital, Doha.
A statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunis said that the meeting will be attended by representatives of Arab interior ministries, as well as the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the UN Human Rights Training and Documentation Centre for South-West Asia and the Arab Region, the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions, the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, and the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.
The conference will discuss several key topics, including the development of technical skills for police and security personnel to combat digital crime, a model plan for preventive security training and rehabilitation, and a framework for security training methods to address crises and emergencies.
