Global Forensic Excellence Summit Starts in Riyadh

     Riyadh, October 29, 2025, SPA -- Under the patronage of Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel, the first edition of the Global Forensic Excellence Summit (GFEX 2025) began in Riyadh as part of the Global Health Exhibition. The event, organized by the Ministry of Health’s Forensic Medical Services Center, will run for three days at Narcissus The Royal Hotel.
   The summit brings together the 4th Saudi Conference of Forensic Medical Sciences (SCFMS 2025) and the 6th International Conference, Workshops, and Exhibition on Toxicology and Pharmacy (KSAPT 2025), featuring a distinguished lineup of experts, researchers, and practitioners from Saudi Arabia and abroad in the first event of its kind in the Middle East.
   Forensic Medical Services Center Executive Director-General and summit chairman Dr. Ahmed Al-Yahya said the event is organized in cooperation with the Saudi Society of Forensic Medicine and the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society with the participation of 15 government entities to enhance integration between health and scientific disciplines in support of justice, humanity, and excellence in forensic medical practices.
   Al-Yahya noted that the summit received 320 scientific papers from more than 20 countries, of which 102 were accepted for presentation across 16 scientific sessions, alongside 104 posters and 12 workshops discussing the latest developments and innovations in forensic medicine, toxicology, pharmacology, and forensic evidence.
   Health Support Services Center Chief Executive Officer Dr. Maram Alotaibi said the summit serves as an advanced scientific platform that reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to developing forensic medical sciences and strengthening the integration between medicine and law in the service of justice and society. She added that the participation of international experts contributes to exchanging expertise and advancing practices in line with the highest global standards.
   Alotaibi further noted that holding the summit as part of the Global Health Exhibition embodies the ministry’s vision of integrating advanced health disciplines under one umbrella to build a comprehensive health ecosystem that aligns with the Health Transformation Program and supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
