Three Saudi Cardiac Centers Earn ACC International Center of Excellence

Riyadh, October 30, 2025, SPA -- Seha Virtual Hospital announced that three Saudi cardiac centers have received the American College of Cardiology (ACC) International Center of Excellence designation: Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Qassim, Saud Al-Babtain Cardiac Center in Dammam, and Madinah Cardiac Center.
The virtual hospital said the milestone is part of the national project to improve the quality of cardiac care, which it oversees by applying data-driven clinical methods and digital analytics to ensure the highest global standards of care and patient safety.
Certificates were presented to the three centers at Seha Virtual Hospital’s booth during the 2025 Global Health Exhibition, in the presence of Assistant Minister of Health for Hospital Services Dr. Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Abdulaali, along with ministry leaders, experts, and specialists.
The ACC designation is among the most prestigious recognitions in cardiology, based on a comprehensive evaluation of service quality, workforce competency, and evidence-based treatment protocols.
The achievement is linked to Seha Virtual Hospital’s implementation of the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) for acute coronary syndromes at the Ministry of Health cardiac centers, coordinated with the Saudi Health Council (SHC) represented by the National Heart Center (NHC), and in partnership with the ACC.
