Health Minister Meets Iran Counterpart at the Global Health Exhibition

   Riyadh, October 29, 2025, SPA -- Minister of Health Fahd Al-Jalajel met with Iranian Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education Dr. Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi.
   The two ministers discussed strengthening cooperation and expanding investments in the health, medical, and pharmaceutical sectors, thereby enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries. The meeting took place during the Iranian minister's participation in the eighth annual Global Health Forum in Riyadh.
   The health ministers explored prospects for academic and research cooperation through the exchange of scientific expertise, including professors and students, and the coordination of joint conferences and seminars. They emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise to enhance communication between medical centers and contribute to the development of knowledge and health innovation in both countries.
   The meeting reflects the commitment of both sides to consolidating health and scientific relations and opening new avenues for cooperation in the fields of pharmaceuticals, research, and innovation, supporting sustainable health development and strengthening regional integration in the health sector.
