Foreign Minister meets UK Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, members of UK Parliament and House of Lords

Manama, Nov. 1 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Priti Patel, Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom; Lord Stuart Polak and Lord John Mendelsohn, members of the House of Lords; and several members of the UK Parliament, on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

The meeting reviewed the longstanding ties between Bahrain and the UK and its continued development at all levels, and discussed means to further advance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest to serve shared objectives.

Views were also exchanged on the latest regional and international developments, with both sides underlining the importance of continued consultation and coordination to support efforts aimed at enhancing security, stability, and lasting peace in the region, as well as discussing issues of common concern.
