‘Global Harmony 2’ Showcases Cultures of 14 Nations, Lives of Expats in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, November 5, 2025, SPA -- Reflecting Riyadh’s vibrant cultural scene, the “Global Harmony 2” initiative -- organized by the Ministry of Media in partnership with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) under the Quality of Life Program as part of Saudi Vision 2030 -- offers an interactive space celebrating the diverse cultures of residents.
Indian Culture Week at Al Suwaidi Park in Riyadh marks the first stop in a series of cultural weeks hosting 14 countries from Asia, Africa, and the Arab world. The event features more than 100 artists and creators presenting artistic, heritage, and musical performances, along with areas showcasing traditional cuisine, clothing, handicrafts, and family-friendly interactive experiences.
Indian week features traditional artistic performances and shows highlighting the diversity of Indian heritage along with art workshops and dedicated spaces for children. The event is receiving extensive media coverage from Indian channels and platforms broadcasting its activities to audiences outside the Kingdom.
Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan affirmed that the initiative serves as a cultural bridge that deepens ties between the two countries, noting that the success of last year's inaugural edition encouraged greater participation this year from both artists and visitors.
Upcoming stops of the initiative will feature cultural weeks for several resident communities in Saudi Arabia, including the Philippines, Egypt, Pakistan, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Bangladesh, Yemen, Uganda, Ethiopia, and others, offering performances of traditional arts and music, along with cuisine and social activities representing each culture.
The initiative builds on government efforts to enhance the quality of life across Saudi cities and to strengthen the Saudi Arabia ’s position as a global cultural hub that embraces resident communities and offers them a platform to showcase their cultures in a spirit of social harmony and human diversity.
