FM spokesperson calls for developing media cooperation with other countries

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei hosted press advisors and public diplomacy experts from foreign embassies based in Tehran.

In this meeting, Baqaei explained the responsibilities and activities of the Public and Media Diplomacy Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the existing capacities for developing media cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and other countries.

Emphasizing the importance of expanding media communications between countries, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced the Public Diplomacy Center's readiness to facilitate media exchanges and the exchange of media delegations.

Baqaei also explained our country's positions on regional and international developments and emphasized the importance of the role of embassy press attachés in accurately reflecting developments related to Iran.

Subsequently, the press attachés of foreign embassies welcomed the holding of regular meetings with Baqaei and presented their suggestions and views on strengthening interactions in the fields of media and public diplomacy.
