Iran and Philippines review issues of mutual interest

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and visiting Philippine Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Leo M. Herrera-Lim have discussed issues of mutual interest.

Herrera-Lim is in Tehran to participate in the 8th round of Iran-Philippines political consultations.

Referring to the long-standing and friendly relations between the two countries, Araghchi said holding political consultations and the joint economic commission regularly pave the way for developing all-out ties.

Meanwhile, Herrera-Lim presented a report on his constructive negotiations with his Iranian counterpart Majid Takht-Ravanchi

He emphasized the determination of Philippine officials to expand relations with Iran.
