Central Thailand Floods Continue

SINGBURI, Nov 13 (TNA) - Devastating floods are deepening across central Thailand, with residents trapped in water for over two months, calling the crisis worse than the 2011 disaster.
In Sing Buri, a critical sandbag dike in In Buri District collapsed, allowing the Chao Phraya River to breach defenses. The resulting surge has flooded In Buri School and is now surrounding In Buri Hospital.
In Ayutthaya’s Sena District, desperate residents are surviving on makeshift platforms high up in their homes.

In Chai Nat, earth dikes in Sapphaya District failed at multiple points, causing floodwaters over one meter deep. Thousands of families have evacuated, seeking refuge along a highway.
The provincial command center reports the floods now affect 5 districts and over 5,400 households in Chai Nat alone. -819 (TNA)
