Continuing Legacy: Saudi Arabia’s Dedication to the Two Holy Mosques and Pilgrims

Jeddah, November 13, 2025, SPA -- Over the past decades, the services provided to the two holy mosques and pilgrims have continuously evolved, reflecting the commitment of successive Saudi governments to facilitating the performance of religious rites. These efforts ensure the highest levels of comfort and tranquility for visitors to the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
This dedication was established during the reign of the Kingdom’s founder King Abdulaziz, and has been sustained by successive kings through historic expansions and major enhancements in transportation, crowd management, security, water supply, and infrastructure.
Ongoing initiatives and projects further enhance services for Islam and Muslims while continually enriching the pilgrims’ experience year after year.
