Istisqa Prayer Performed at the Grand Mosque in Makkah

   Makkah, November 13, 2025, SPA -- Worshippers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah performed the Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer today, with Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz in attendance.
   After leading the prayer, Imam and Khatib of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Dr. Yasser Al-Dosari delivered a sermon urging Muslims to fear Allah, combine hope with awe, and be persistent in supplication, emphasizing that piety expands sustenance, lengthens lifespans, and brings blessings of rain and harvest.
