HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the outgoing Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and Head of the Arab Affairs and National Security Sector at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States

Manama, Nov. 11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Ambassador Khalil Ibrahim Al Thawadi, the outgoing Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and Head of the Arab Affairs and National Security Sector at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, at Gudaibiya Palace.

 

His Royal Highness expressed the Kingdom’s pride in the dedication and achievements of its citizens across diverse fields. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister outlined that these accomplishments are testament to the professionalism and excellence of Bahrain’s national workforce, whose contributions continue to drive forward the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

 

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also commended the Ambassador for his distinguished career, marked by dedication, integrity, and exemplary service to Bahrain and the wider Arab world.

 

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the Ambassador’s contributions to advancing government work through his various positions, as well as his efforts within the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States to further strengthen joint Arab cooperation.

 

His Royal Highness commended Team Bahrain, whose members continue to deliver to the highest standards, advance government performance, and strengthen the efficiency of vital sectors.

 

For his part, Ambassador Al Thawadi expressed his sincere appreciation for His Royal Highness’s unwavering support of the national workforce and his continual recognition of their contributions across diverse fields of responsibility. The Ambassador affirmed that such recognition serves as a profound source of motivation, inspiring all to redouble their efforts in strengthening the Kingdom’s ongoing development and prosperity.

 

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, also attended the meeting.
