Bahrain, Jordan hold 22nd meeting of Joint Higher Military Committee

Manama, Nov. 11 (BNA): Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force, chaired the Bahraini side at the 22nd meeting of the Bahrain–Jordan Joint Higher Committee.

The Jordanian side was chaired by Major General Yousef Ahmed Al Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces.

Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi commended the Bahrain-Jordan relations, noting their advanced cooperation across various sectors, particularly in the military field, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Both sides reviewed several items on the committee’s agenda aimed at strengthening military cooperation.

They also discussed joint military projects between the Bahrain Defence Force and the Jordanian Armed Forces.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties signed the minutes of the 22nd Bahrain–Jordan Joint Higher Committee meeting, which aims to further develop cooperation and continue the exchange of military expertise between the two countries.
