Bahrain participates in 75th Executive Bureau Meeting of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers

Cairo, Nov. 11 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed Mujbil, Assistant Undersecretary for State Cases and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, represented the Kingdom of Bahrain at the 75th meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers, held in preparation for the Council’s 41st session.
The meeting discussed several agenda items, including draft resolutions related to the Arab Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism, the Arab Convention on Combating Information Technology Offences, and a draft resolution on strengthening Arab and international cooperation in combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
Participants also reviewed efforts to unify Arab legislation in areas such as drug control, hate speech, and the protection of children affected by armed conflict.
Additionally, the meeting discussed draft resolutions concerning the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention and the Draft Arab Convention on Personal Data Protection, as well as mechanisms to enhance coordination between the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers and the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, to strengthen joint Arab action in the judicial and security fields.
The meeting concluded with the adoption of the agenda items to be submitted for discussion and approval at the upcoming session of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers.
