Bahrain participates in 38th session of Arab Transport Ministers Council

Cairo, Nov. 12 (BNA): Bader Hood Al Mahmoud, Undersecretary for Ports and Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, participated in the 38th session of the Council of Arab Transport Ministers, held in Cairo.

Chaired by Dr. Noura Mohammed Al Mashaan, Minister of Public Works of Kuwait, the meeting reviewed key initiatives aimed at boosting Arab transport cooperation, including the Arab Land Transport Electronic Portal, a road safety strategy, maritime cooperation, and cybersecurity in civil aviation.

Al Mahmoud commended the Council’s efforts to advance joint Arab action in transport and underscored Bahrain’s commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance regional trade and infrastructure integration.
