Culture Ministry Launches Research Projects in China Under Saudi-Chinese Grant

   Riyadh, November 18, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Culture has announced updates on the Saudi Chinese Cultural Relations Grant, launched last May as part of the Saudi-Chinese Cultural Year 2025 initiative, supporting the executive program signed this year between the ministry and the China-Arab Research Center for Culture and Tourism Cooperation.
   The grant program supports 20 research projects and four fellowships, enabling researchers to conduct academic and research activities in institutions across both countries.
   The current phase of the program includes two research visits to China, organized in cooperation with the China-Arab Research Center for Culture and Tourism Cooperation and Peking University, as part of the joint executive program.
   The scientific committee for the cultural grant selected 20 outstanding research proposals from a total of 153 applications submitted by 150 individual researchers and three research groups from nine countries.
   This cultural grant represents a key Ministry of Culture initiative to support scientific research in various cultural fields, promoting friendly ties between nations and strengthening global cultural exchange.
