Riyadh, November 19, 2025, SPA -- The 10th Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society Conference will be held in Riyadh from November 19 to 22, featuring local, regional, and international experts who will discuss key topics in pediatric neurology, focusing on advancements, challenges, and the specialty’s growth in the Kingdom.
President of the Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society Dr. Fahad Al Bashiri said the event seeks to improve clinical practices by showcasing the latest developments in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders in children. It also aims to foster research and innovation, supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 to position the Kingdom as a leader in medical research.
He added that this year’s conference marks the beginning of formal collaborations with global organizations like the Asian and Oceanian Child Neurology Association (AOCNA) to enhance knowledge exchange among specialists.
Conference Chairman Dr. Mohammed Al-Omari highlighted current challenges in the field, such as a shortage of specialists, delayed diagnoses of rare diseases, and limited access to genetic and rehabilitative services. He noted that Vision 2030 supports efforts to address these challenges through digital health programs, early detection initiatives, expanded training, and greater collaboration across healthcare sectors.
