Shura Chairman visits Museum of Parliamentary Life in Amman

Amman, Nov. 21 (BNA): Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, visited the Museum of Parliamentary Life in Amman, as part of his official visit to Jordan from 18 to 20 November.

The Chairman and accompanying members were given an overview of the museum’s key exhibits, which chart Jordan’s parliamentary and democratic evolution. The site, formally opened as a museum in 2016, once served as the venue for early legislative and national assembly sessions and was the setting for major moments in Jordan’s modern history, including the 1946 proclamation of independence.

The delegation viewed the historic parliamentary chamber and displays documenting the development of Jordan’s constitutional and legislative institutions through archival material, photographs and audiovisual presentations.
