Shura Chairman concludes visit to Jordan

Amman, Nov. 21 (BNA): Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, concluded an official visit to Jordan, undertaken from 18 to 20 November at the invitation of Faisal Akef Al Fayez, Jordanian Senate President.

The visit included wide-ranging talks with senior Jordanian officials, including the President of the Senate, Dr. Jaafar Hassan, Prime Minister and Defence Minister, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Jordan. Al Saleh said the discussions reflected the depth of the long-standing relationship between Bahrain and Jordan and the continued support the ties enjoy from the leadership of both kingdoms.

He affirmed the Shura Council’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Jordan, expanding parliamentary dialogue, and coordinating positions on issues of mutual interest, in support of the growing strategic partnership between the two nations.
