Information Minister: Bahraini women show strong presence in national media

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, said that the annual celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day on December 1 highlights the high status achieved by Bahraini women, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the achievements that have established their role as active partners in the country’s comprehensive development.
The Information Minister commended the notable achievements of Bahraini women across all domains, especially within the government sector, reflecting the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support national talents within Team Bahrain. Government initiatives have enhanced women’s skills and advanced their active presence across various workplaces, contributing to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s development.
He also highly valued the key role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, for advancing Bahraini women’s status and progress. Under Her Royal Highness’ leadership, the SCW has launched initiatives and programmes that have developed women’s participation and advanced their role as key partners in the nation’s progress.
Dr. Al Noaimi noted that this year’s theme "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation", reflects women’s proven competence and achievements in all domains, including media. Bahraini women have strengthened their presence and delivered exemplary contributions across media sectors, becoming active partners in creating impactful content and shaping a modern national media message. He underlined the continued commitment to supporting Bahraini women to enhance their role and participation in the Kingdom’s ongoing development and progress.
