Municipalities Ministry Continues Municipal Services in Mina on Day of Al-Nahr, Days of Tashreeq

   Mina, May 27, 2026, SPA -- The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, represented by the Holy Makkah Municipality, continues operational and service plans in Mina during the Day of Al-Nahr and the Days of Tashreeq, reinforcing field operations and raising the readiness of municipal service centers across the site.
   Field teams are monitoring food establishments and catering sites while intensifying cleaning, environmental sanitation, and waste-collection operations. The teams also continue oversight rounds to address issues affecting pilgrims' health and safety.
   The ministry's operational plan deployed more than 22,000 personnel supported by more than 3,000 pieces of equipment and operating more than 88,000 waste units. Waste collected in the holy sites exceeded 15,800 tons.
   The ministry affirmed the continuation of operational and oversight plans around the clock to enhance the quality of municipal services provided to pilgrims and enable them to perform rituals with ease and tranquility.
