Interior Ministry Issues Administrative Decisions against 10 Violators of Hajj Regulations for Transporting 34 Individuals without Permits to Perform Hajj

Mina, May 27, 2026, SPA -- The Ministry of Interior announced that Hajj security forces at the entrances to Makkah apprehended five expatriates and five citizens for violating Hajj regulations and instructions by transporting 34 individuals without permits to perform Hajj.
The ministry issued administrative decisions through its seasonal administrative committees, including fines of up to SAR100,000 for the transporters and those involved in the violations, in addition to imprisonment and public naming.
Fines of up to SAR20,000 were also imposed on the transported individuals for attempting to perform Hajj without permits.
The expatriates will be deported and banned from entering the Kingdom for 10 years after serving their sentences. The ministry also requested the legal confiscation of the vehicles used to transport the violators.
