Interior Minister Inspects Medical Evacuation, Command and Control Center of SRCA

   Makkah, May 29, 2026, SPA -- Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz inspected on Thursday the workflow at the Medical Evacuation, Command and Control Center of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA), which is participating in implementing emergency-response plans and field medical services during this year’s Hajj season.
   Upon arrival, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud was received by Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel and SRCA President Jalal Alowaisi.
   During the visit, the interior minister reviewed the emergency-response system, mechanisms for managing reports and dispatching field teams, and technologies used to monitor operational status and enhance emergency-response efficiency in the holy sites.
   Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud also listened to a briefing presented by SRCA Hajj Operations Head Fahad Alhajjaj, covering the medical evacuation system, coordination mechanisms between emergency teams and healthcare facilities, and the role of the Command and Control Center in supporting rapid decision-making and improving response times. The system contributes to enhancing the integration of healthcare services provided to pilgrims.
   The interior minister also reviewed several modern emergency-response vehicles and equipment supporting the authority’s field readiness, including rapid-intervention vehicles, specialized emergency medical tools, and technologies used in providing emergency care. The capabilities contribute to enhancing the efficiency of emergency services during the Hajj season.
   Several Ministry of Interior officials accompanied Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud.
