Shooting movie about Chyngyz Aitmatov underway in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2025. /Kabar/. The first filming of movie about the great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov is underway. The film's director and director of photography, Kanybek Kalmatov, told Kabar. According to him, a teaser will be released to the public first. Specifically, it will outline the events and themes it will focus on.

"We are currently filming the teaser. The shooting preparations have also begun. The film will primarily be shot in blocks, according to the seasons," he said.
