Foreign Minister meets Argentine counterpart

New York, Jun. 1 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Pablo Quirno, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Republic of Argentina, on the sidelines of their participation in the UN Security Council meetings.
The meeting discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and means to strengthen and expand it in areas of mutual interest, serving their shared interests.
They also exchanged views on regional developments, the repercussions of Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, GCC countries and other regional states, the consequences of Iran’s continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz on international navigation and the global economy, efforts to maintain regional security and stability, and continued cooperation and coordination on issues before the UN Security Council.
The meeting was attended by Jamal Fares Al Ruwaie, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, and the accompanying delegation.
