Foreign Minister meets Czech counterpart

New York, Jun. 1 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Petr Macinka, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, on the sidelines of the UN Security Council meetings.
They discussed the latest regional developments, the repercussions of the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, GCC countries and other regional states, the consequences of Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz on international navigation, the global economy, and energy and food supplies, as well as ongoing efforts to ensure the success of the US-Iran negotiations, mediated by Pakistan, and maintain maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz.
The meeting was attended by Jamal Fares Al Ruwaie, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, and the accompanying delegation.
